Soap Star

Soap Star is a mobile game designed and developed for Hoodlum.

You play characters in soap operas, driving the stories forward by choosing their lines and the emotions they’ll deliver them with.

Hoodlum had been developing the game on and off for several years before we came on board.

It was conceived as a multiplayer web-based Facebook game back in the early social network gaming gold rush days (think Zynga, Mafia Wars, Farmville).

However the market had changed, and we advised reworking the game as a mobile title.

We redesigned and built the game in a short time, feeding in stories from Hoodlum’s proprietary content management system, and adding new graphics and UI, and polish. 

The game pulls down new episodic content to keep players hooked.
